September is Alzheimer's Awareness month

I just bought this awesome purple Alzheimer's awareness bracelet in honor of my great aunt Barbara, who was diagnosed with the disease. It's beautiful and every time I look at it I'm going to think of all the great memories we shared.

October is breast cancer awareness month

This awesome piece is a bridal bouquet jewel stem, I love it! It's so creative and absolutely gorgeous! Things like this make me wish I could have another wedding (to my husband of course!)!

They may come home with one of these! This is our new kitty who at this moment is nameless! I love the name July. Growing up I had a cat named June and she was my baby. I had her for over 15 years until she passed away late 2008. I love it because July comes after June :) What do you think?

6 great years and 11 awards!

Yesterday my husband and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary. We had a blast going bowling with some great friends of ours. After bowling we ate at Shoguns, it was a new experience for my family and we loved it! Never thought I would go to a Japanese steak house but I am so excited our friend's 6 year old son suggested it. I've never been one to branch out when it comes to food, when I find something I like I never get anything different. I usually don't even need to see a menu when we go out to eat, but the food was great and so was the show! I love that they cook your food at your table, but the fire that blazed in front of us kind of freaked me out when he first started it. It was a great night and the best anniversary yet!

This weekend was our county fair and my pictures won 11 awards! I won 5 first place ribbons, 1 2nd place, and 3 3rd place! I also won Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion!! I am so excited and I will post the award winning photos on here this week!

I'm back... for real this time!

I know I've said that before, but I really am going to try to update the blog more often. I love writing it just seems that spare time is a rare thing for me these days. My blog and by book have suffered from my hectic life, I would love to say things will calm down soon but I don't see that happening. The rest of 2010 is going to be packed for this fabulous mommy!
September is filled with several birthday parties and a very special 6th wedding anniversary for my husband and I. My sister in-law is getting married in November so we are going dress shopping this month, I can't wait!
Early October we are taking K to his first ever concert! I am so excited to share this experience with him, I absolutely LOVE concerts and I hope he is excited as I am! We are going to an outdoor venue, not sure he is going to like being in the middle of a crowded arena so I'm glad this one is outside. I also have a several photo shoots scheduled for October and November. November, My sister in-law is getting married! I absolutely love weddings, I could go to some random person's wedding and I would cry and enjoy it as much as I enjoyed my own wedding! So this year has flown by, I hope it slows down enough these last few months to enjoy the holidays!

I'M BACK!

It's been a month since my last blog, but I AM BACK! Things are finally starting to calm down and I am ready to get back to the blogging world!!!

This morning I attended church with a good friend at her Cowboy Church! It was awesome and I think I may have found a new place to attend! I am very excited about this! My youngest son, N, is all about cowboys and horses so he LOVED it! He was amazed at all the cowboys in their cowboy hats!

We went on vacation in June and I will be posting pictures VERY soon so keep checking back for those!
